Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions

  1. A contract between you and the Owner will come into existence when the deposit or full payment is received and a booking confirmation email is sent to confirm the holiday dates.
  2. The contract binds you (the lead booker) & all members of the party who are part of the booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party adhere to these Terms & Conditions.
  3. We require names and contact details of all adult guests and the ages of all children.
  4. Rental Charges – You must pay a 30% deposit on booking, with the remainder of the balance due six calendar weeks before the start of the Let. The Owner will send you a reminder for the remaining balance and will also send confirmation once the money is received. If a booking is made less than six calendar weeks before the start of the Let, the full rental charges are due at the time of booking. Failure to pay the balance of rental charges by the due date will result in the booking being cancelled and the Owner treating the Property as available for re-booking; no refunds will be made.
  5. Please notify the Owner of any cancellation in writing via email. The date of cancellation will be the date on which the email confirmation is received. Once the booking has been cancelled, the booked dates will be marketed again and if the Property is re-let for part or all of the original booking amount, a voucher towards a future stay in the same apartment will be provided up to the value of the original booking, less a £50 administration charge. This voucher will be valid for 12 months from issue. If replacement booking(s) are not made, guests will be liable for the full rent, and we reserve the right to collect any outstanding rent on cancellation to cover this eventuality.
  6. To safeguard against cancellation charges and other unforeseen eventualities we strongly recommend that you take out your own comprehensive travel insurance. If you choose not to, you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to cancellation.
  7. Subsequent to your booking, should the Property become unavailable through any cause, you must accept that the Owner’s liability is limited to the amount of Rental Charges paid at the date the Property becomes unavailable.
  8. You agree to use the Property solely for its intended purpose as self-catering furnished holiday accommodation and to accept the Owner's right, at their sole discretion, to refuse to hand over the Property to any person deemed unsuitable to take charge. No refund will be permitted in such circumstances.
  9. Causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbours or other guests, unreasonable behaviour, or disrupting the running of the Property may result in the Owner requesting you to leave with no refund being made.
  10. You agree to allow the Owners, or their agents, access to the Property at all reasonable times. We will only ever request access in case of an emergency, e.g. a water leak, maintenance emergency, any urgent health and safety issue, or any other reasonable urgent matter.
  11. You must respect and look after the Property during your stay, and you must leave the Property clean and tidy. Please let the Owner know of any damage or breakages so that they can repair or replace them for the next booking. We reserve the right to charge you a reasonable amount for any damage or breakages that you cause.
  12. You can arrive (check in) at the Property after 3pm on the day of arrival. You must vacate the Property (check out) by 10am at the latest on your day of departure, unless special arrangements have been made with the Owner. This is to allow us to prepare the Property for the next booking.
  13. Dogs
    • Dogs (maximum of two) are permitted in Apartment One and one non-shedding breed of dog in Apartment Two. No dogs are permitted in Apartment Four.
    • Dogs must be booked in advance, and the cost is £50 per dog.
    • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
    • Dogs are not permitted on the furniture.
    • Dogs must not be left alone in the property.
  14. Please park your vehicle in the designated parking space, ensuring your vehicle does not block access to other properties.
  15. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any of the apartments.
  16. The use of your own personal electrical equipment must be at your own personal risk. To comply with our fire risk assessment and insurance policies self-charging of items such as cars, bikes, portable equipment etc. is not permitted. The Property is not insured for self-charging electric cars and is therefore not permitted.
  17. You agree to comply at all times with our Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and our no smoking, vaping and candles policies. A copy of the FRA is located in the guest information booket inside your apartment.
  18. Sunny Beach Escapes cannot accept responsibility for injury to guests, visitors or third parties (except in the case of death or personal injury resulting from gross negligence) or loss or damage to their belongings, their car or its contents.
