Sunny Beach began life as Warwick House in the 1870s and was occupied by The Blew family until around 1915. The war years were not good to the beach front properties and. during WW2, a German bomber destroyed adjacent properties. She seems to have reopened in the 1950s as the Meyrick Cliffs Hotel. After a decline in tourism, the hotel was revitalized in 2013 into six self-catering modern apartments while preserving its Victorian charm. Thus, Sunny Beach Apartments emerged as a luxury accommodation option.
